Thinking of doing placenta encapsulation? Deanna Norris, LM, CPM, BSM has trained and certified with the gold standard in Placenta Arts Specialists (2016-2018). She has not renewed her certification with APPA due to focusing on her private Midwifery practice, however the knowledge and safety she gained during her training remains! She continues to offer placenta encapsulation to families located around Oklahoma City, including Edmond, Norman, Yukon, Stillwater, and Guthrie.

The training of the Association of Placenta Prep Arts goes above and beyond to make sure their Placenta Arts Specialists are well trained in research, anatomy, blood-borne pathogens, state laws, food safety, traditional uses of the placenta, and postpartum mood disorders. Deanna has successfully completed the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogens Training in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogens Standard 29 CFR 1090.1030, as well as Food Handlers Training for Oklahoma.
